EVERYDAY POTTERY that reflects a birch forest or a silhouette of the mountains and islands of Acadia, reminding you of your very best moments in Maine. This is my goal in creating Carole Beal Stoneware.
After 25 winters living in the village of Bar Harbor and summers overlooking a five-acre field in Blue Hill, I now make pottery year-round in my Five Acre Field studio.
In 1982, with other local artists, I co-founded Island Artisans Gallery. I continue to sell my work in our stores in Bar Harbor and Northeast Harbor, and by special order.
Carole Beal Stoneware is oven proof, dishwasher safe, and safe for all foods and the microwave. Patterns include Pine Tree, Birch Tree in Summer (green), Birch Tree in Winter (black), The Bubbles at Jordan Pond, Champlain Mountain, Wildflowers, and Earthtones.
